BISS KEY:

What is Biss key?
Basic Interoperable scrambling system usually know as Biss for short, is a satellite signal that is developed by EBU>> European Broadcasting Union. Basically

Biss keys are divided into two firstly the BISS-1: this is common to us, it transmissions are protected by a 12 digit hexadecimal  “session key” when this 12 digit hexadecimal key is inputted in to any Biss supported decoders it decrypts the channel..Secondly we have the BISS-E : not all decoders can decrypt a channel locked with Biss-e even if it is Biss supported, it has to be the decoder provided by the transmitters of such channels. They use a secret code stored in the decoder, then the users are sent a 16 digit hexadecimal session key” that will now combine with the already stored secrete code to decrypt the channel.

HOW TO ENTER BISS KEY ON DIFFERENT RECEIVERS

For strong srt4922 and older i.e. 4663,4669, 4661 etc. go to the channel you want to decrypt and  dial this numbers 8280 and a pop up window will appear with Biss key scroll down and enter the biss key given and exist to save.

For strong srt 4950, 4950m, 4950h press F18280 go to slot number(this slot numbers varies for different channels) select the slot no given for the channel you want to decrypt and enter the key as given

For Qsat and Azsky go to menu of your remote go to Xcam setup open patch then select biss key and edit note: you must also add the frequency of the channel you want to decrypt

For Tlink press menu go to settings goto patch menu scroll left or right with the navigation buttons on your remote until you get to biss, press the red button on your remote to add new key, make sure you press ok to save before you exist.

ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT BISS KEYS ARE CASE SENSITIVE
